We have a large gay population here, and quite a few who hold professional jobs. In my office, there are three other gay people in their 20s.

I like Denver, it's a good place for young gay people. I do however, plan on moving next summer- perhaps Chicago, just for a change. Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. Former Resident: Austin is a city with festive music and exciting events all the time.

There are numerous parks where people can hang out, throw a Frisbee, picnic, and hammock. There are also so many opportunities to go paddle-boarding, rock climbing, and hike in the green belt. Downtown you can grab a snow cone or some fantastic food from so many different restaurants! There are plenty of nice neighborhoods with good schools to live in. You might have to fight a little traffic to get to work but overall Austin is worth living in because of all the benefits! Read 1, Reviews. Nearby Resident: I love Ann Arbor because it has the small town feel, while also having the city and nigh life atmosphere.

The heart of this city is located on the campus of The University of Michigan, but it is also surrounded by many tight knit neighborhoods and high schools. There are unlimited restaurants located in downtown Ann Arbor. If you love family, food, sports, activities, adventure, great school systems, and a caring community then Ann Arbor is the perfect place!

After living here about a year, I've fallen in love with this city! Public transportation could be better, but it's definitely not unbearable. I love my neighborhood in Chicago! I live in LS right off the California blue line. We have access to so many bars, restaurants and performance venues.

The main thing I would improve in my city is more transit options and better bike safety. I'm doing my part in reducing my carbon footprint by not owning a car. I wish that in part, trains could run more often and that more trains could be built to accommodate our cities growth. In addition, I wish that there were more bike lanes and that pedestrian safety was taken more seriously. Atlanta is a great city! There are affordable areas to live in as well as expensive ones, as well as safer areas and more dangerous ones, but that's the case with just about any city. Houses and apartments are being put up all around down on a regular basis. As a young person, I haven't had difficulty finding somewhere cheap and safe to live. Great town! Sandy Springs is definitely up and coming. Lots of new development, new parks, new infrastructure.

Great selection of retail and restaurants. Only negative comment is the lack of sidewalks and connected public transit, but I know this is at least being progressed! Despite that I actually live 30 minutes away from Plano, the schools, churches and such that I have attended and visited have always been in this area.

With the amount of time I have spent in the area, it feels like my hometown. Plano is a nice area and very safe. Not only is there cultural diversity in Plano but there are a couple of stores in the area that cater to different cultures, for example, Hmart. Collin College is the college that I have attended in Plano and is a very great and diverse community college. Overall, Plano is a very safe city. It offers some diverse shopping options, has some fun entertainment centers for celebratory events, an excellent option for community college and many restaurants to choose to eat from!
